After kicking off Men’s Fashion Week in London, it’s safe to say Men’s Fashion Month is well underway. We’ve been lucky enough to spend time with some of our favorite men’s designers—backstage and in front of the runway … And since Paris starts tomorrow we should probably give you the lowdown on one of our favorite Milan designers, Sunnei before we start drinking too much wine. Below we give you all the fun stuff that goes down at fashion week minus the parts that involve airport security—Here it goes:
Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina are known for their handmade italian garments and avant-garde sensibility. These defining characteristics were more than present in the brands second runway show this past weekend, except this time escapism was thrown into the mix. And hey why not? It was the weekend.
And what do boys do on the weekend? Well, when they aren’t playing video games? Most likely wait until their parents fall asleep, climb out of the window, and go to that party everyone’s been talking about it. For Sunnei Fall/Winter ‘17 though, the boys don’t arrive to just any party, instead they find themselves in a dreamlike landscape that pays tribute to pure beauty versus modern day culture vultures. With a focus on accessories and a debut of a RETROSUPERFUTURE sunglasses collab, the Italian design-duo filled the runway—or rather, sublime world with clean aesthetics, precious materials, denim and symmetry.
