It’s officially NYFW and the madness is upon us, in a good (yet always sleep-deprived) way. Ahead of our show on Sunday night, we stay busy bopping around the city from show-to-show capturing the collection essentials and backstage highlights at some of our favorite brands showing in New York. Church Street Boxing was a perfect place for Vaquera to host their runway show—if anything it symbolized a true fashion week catharsis. An arena for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist heavyweight contenders. Backstage took place in the changing rooms, where the models laced up, gloves were replaced by denim male corsets—not your usual locker room talk but let’s fix that.
