It’s officially NYFW and the madness is upon us, in a good (yet always sleep-deprived) way. Ahead of our show on Sunday night, we stay busy bopping around the city from show-to-show capturing the collection essentials and backstage highlights at some of our favorite brands showing in New York. Yesterday, we headed over to Hudson River Park to catch Miaou’s Spring/Summer ‘18 presentation on the beautiful Grand Banks, the historic fishing boat docked at Pier 25.
When we pulled up to the Miaou show the vibe was like …
A mix of being on a cruise in Santorini and the set of JAY-Z’s ‘Big Pimpin’ at the same damn time.
Immediately we wished …
The boat wasn’t docked and we all sailed out to sea, but a few drinks and jazz from The Onyx Collection kept us grounded as we perused the presentation—not impaired but enhanced.
If Alexia allowed us to leave with one piece it would be?
Does it count as one piece if they all have matching canopy stripes? Go-go geometric patterns? A look should count as one piece in our book. We would go with the matching black denim three-piece, you can wear it all year long.
What will we do until the collection releases?
Shop the OC-exclusive collection here (duh!) and take a vacation to where it’s always summer.
