Opening Ceremony explores a new denim frontier with AGOLDE, a brand envisioned by industry giant Jerome Dahan to create an exclusive collection of workwear for the girls. Dahan who founded notable denim brands like 7 For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity, made his stake in the industry by sourcing the best and most innovative fabrics from around the world. Local production is also a big part of AGOLDE’s DNA, and to ensure design and production quality, the brand has established its own in-house laundry and manufacturing facilities located in downtown Los Angeles. Our like-minded nature made for a seamlessly natural union … We’re excited to present a collection that reimagines classic silhouettes fusing the irreverent spirit of LA with OC’s New York touch.
AGOLDE and Opening Ceremony’s exclusive collection features three styles of denim, two jackets, and a mini skirt. AGOLDE’s iconic Jamie jean sports screen-printed cuffs, while the Jade comes with an all-over custom rainbow topstitching. The jackets and skirt are made with tonal panels and patch pockets inspired by traditional carpenter jeans. Each piece is washed prior to the patches added, enhancing the collection’s handcrafted workwear aesthetic. All these components complete a collection that gives a nod to denim’s workwear roots but made for the modern woman.
