Fact: we did a lot of partying this year (inside Penn Station food halls, etc.,etc.). That said, for this year’s annual Opening Ceremony Holiday Party, we decided to go for something a little more, say, traditional (sort of, keep reading and you’ll understand what we mean). with Just immediate family gathered for an intimate feast at one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, Chalk Point Kitchen.
After chowing down on turtle bean falafels or roasted paffenroth spinelli squash (yeah, say that three times)we headed downstairs to the Handy Liquor Bar, where we were served cocktails aptly named “The Carol” and “The Humberto”, Tiger Beer, and Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir (fancy, right?).
No company holiday party would be truly complete without a White Elephant Gift Exchange, and our team members were happy to battle over the type of $20 and below gifts you’d expect from us. From Obama bobbleheads to a skull shaped bong to a one hour massage w/ tip the fam laughed and pleasantly walked away after the largest White Elephant roster we’ve ever seen. Oh, and the theme was all-white (à la Diddy, of course) because we clean up nice, if we do say so ourselves! Check out photos from the night and click here to see what went down in the Bosco Booth
P.S. keep your eyes peeled for a DIY Gluten-Free Holiday Dessert created just for us by Chalk Point Kitchen, because we wanted a little something to remember the night by and love to share.
