There aren’t a lot of brands that can say “since 1774”. A true German heritage loved by many, Birkenstock goes back centuries. The shoes first appeared in the church archives of Langen-Bergheim, Germany, listing Johann Adam Birkenstock as “subject and cobbler”. Passing down their expert craftsmanship from generation to generation, the shoe brand is best known for their iconic contoured cork footbed, first introduced in 1963.
In celebration of its long-lasting history and our love for the shoe brand, OC partners with Birkenstock for an exclusive collaboration, revealed in OC’s most recent fashion show, “The Happiest Show on Earth” at Disneyland Resort. The capsule collection features iconic footwear styles in bold, dazzling finishes. Both ’70s classics, the Arizona, a two-strap slip-on sandal, along with the brand’s signature slip-on clog, the Boston, sport soft fleece uppers packed with silver and pink glitter for a stand-out look. Each style sits atop the Birkenstock contoured cork footbed for a custom fit.
