Opening Ceremony is looking for a freelance technical designer to support the production and design department.

Duties include
Assist technical design staff in preparing comments, evaluating fit on a model and communicating to the factory any necessary comments and corrections
Measure and spec garments to ensure they meet requested specifications
Review garment construction and finishes to ensure they are correct
Prepare samples for fitting on live models
Take detailed and comprehensive fit notes during fittings to translate into diagrams to explain to factories and pattern-makers any necessary corrections
Cross check patterns against cutter’s must, samples, and BOM’s
