OC WEB: eCommerce Operations & Customer Care Manager (New York, NY)- Posted 1/3/19

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about eCommerce, Web Operations and Customer Service. Your role will be responsible for the operational elements of the site, order processing and customer service. This person will be the tie between the front-end customer-facing operation and the back end processing & integration. He/She will work closely with multiple cross functional teams and platforms to provide the best customer experience possible.

Essential Functions:
Partner with our Warehouse team to ensure all orders and returns are processed according to SLA’s
Triage processing issues and look for long term process/technology solutions. This includes processing delays, no stock orders, damages, incorrect tagging
Manage customer service (email/phone) team, handle escalations, and act as backup
Track orders, preorders, returns, damages, and claims, Conduct weekly audit
Manage overall SLA’s for web operation, Update internal procedures and online Terms as needed
Review return reasons and customer service feedback; communicate any product issues to merch/buying teams
Partner with the technology teams (internal, external) to improve the platforms
Escalate customer service or processing issues to leadership where needed

Skills
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of customer service
Solid operational, process, and technical understanding
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
Detail oriented with multi-tasking abilities
High proficiency in Excel a must
Knowledge of Acadaca, Borderfree, Authorize, & Riskified systems along with QA testing, a plus

Opening Ceremony is looking for a full-time Special Projects and Events Manager. This person will be a key voice in developing and executing Opening Ceremony's special projects and event strategy.

Responsibilities:
Manage influencer relationships and oversee seeding
Manage retail and off-site events: calendar, budgets, execution (in-store and off-site) Provide activity reports (pre-event proposals and post-event recaps)
Maintenance of in-house marketing contact database and calendar events (celebrity, social, holiday, etc.)
Compile calendar of events and relevant opportunities across all markets (local charity, notable events, etc.)
Develop relationships in line with the Opening Ceremony brand (including influencer, sponsorship, etc.)
Liaise with various departments to ensure all marketing initiatives are on-brand and executed to brand standards
Oversee relationship with PR firm, Black Frame (liaison between brand and PR)
Propose strategic partnerships for local markets, aimed at elevating and expanding brand awareness and new client recruitment
Assists in developing and executing special projects and collaborations

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ experience in public relations & events at a major fashion brand, PR agency or events company
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office for creation of relevant artwork and reporting
Extensive network in NYC with agencies, production houses, vendors etc specific to the execution of events
Organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills are a must
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative thinker and pro-active executor
Must work well independently and in a team environment, and in a fast-paced organization
Travelling as needed
